Sonja Rue is a video editor, visual artist, writer & dancer.

She has worked as an independent editor for over 15 years both in Vancouver & in the Kootenays.

Sonja graduated with honours from Vancouver Film School in 1999, going on to work on numerous documentaries including “White Water, Black Gold”, “Defensora” & “No Numbers - Identity beyond Measure” as well as dramatic features, music videos, promotional and educational shorts.

 

Sonja’s passion is exploring how storytelling, art & media can transform communities and help heal individuals.
